I am staying in London on Wed 16th & Thur 17th Jan and am trying to find a hotel which is quite central (or near a tube station) that is reasonable.
Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance.

Anyone? I'll be going to see Wicked in the Apollo, but I'm not fussy about location, as long as it is near the tube.
Thanks.0 -
There are several hotels in London run by the Easy Group - not stayed in one myself so can't comment on what they're like but I believe they cost around £40 per night.

We're having a few days in London and staying in the Premier Travel Inn at County Hall (next to London Eye) for £99 for the room - hot buffet breakfast is £7.50pp extra - take a look at tripadvisor for excellent reviews.0

Hello - I have found good hotels in the past using ratestogo website.0

Try one of the Travelodges. Don't think there are any bargains but Kings Cross has a double or family room for your dates at £85. Sorry, don't know how to give you a link other than copy the address and it's too long!0

Was hoping for something less than £65 per night. I think I'm a little too optimistic!!0

My favourite hotel website www.booking.com has many hotels at reasonable prices in central locations for your dates. This website, I find, is really easy to navigate. Quite a few hotels for under your budget.0

I use https://www.travelstay.co.uk for london hotels, and have found some very cheap ones, although the quality is a bit hit and miss (always check tripadvisor before booking). The Lord Jim in Earls Court and Hyde Park Towers in Bayswater are both nice hotels though.0

There is a nice hotel just a 5 minute walk from the apollo called thistle london victoria. I doubt you will get much change out of £150 per night though. I tried a few other of my favourites and they are all around £160 per night but if its quality and luxury you want they are great. The best work is the cheapest as the quality remains long after the price is forgotten0

Another option is the Premier Travel Inn at London Euston:

The rate is £96 per room for your midweek dates.
I stayed there in December and it's just had a refurbishment............new carpets, decor and new HD tv screen in the rooms etc.
Also, due to the car park being closed and the restaurant being closed..............we were offered a free breakfast every morning...........to eat in the bar or take back to your room.;)
The contents of the breakfast pack were a packet of cornflakes, a carton of milk, a carton of orange juice and a cereal bar.
According to the PTI website, the car park and restaurant will still be closed on the dates you plan to travel...............so the complimentary breakfast should be available.
This hotel is just across the road from Euston station.............so tube and bus travel are very convenient.
If you decide to book a room, ask for a room facing the car park...........which will be much quieter than facing the busy/noisy main road.;)
Kind Regards
