But you are not doing the work for free. You are working X amount of hours for X amount of pay whatever the work entails.0

I dont know if they are achieving them as thry wont discuss and i dont know people well enoigh to ask about it, i just think its unfair that im doing the extra work which they say isnt gokd ebough to get the enhanced payment but they are still letying me do the work? If im not doing it correctly why am i not getting further help? Or taken of those calls?0

The best team members will be frequently talking to each other, always looking at ways to slightly better the KPIs.
It's a target driven environment, some workers will be highly motivated and it can be competitive.
I don't know people well enough to ask suggests to me that you need to talk more, ask more questions and get more involved with the team.
It's hard to say this without sounding cruel, so apologies in advance.- You start with simple tasks to ease you in to the workplace (this isn't actually your job function).
- You receive training to do more and take on more demanding tasks (as is currently happening).
- You might pick it up quickly and soon be hitting/exceeding KPIs - your manager will notice, you'll be rewarded and will secure a place in the team (with the others who are meeting/exceeding targets)
- You might show potential but aren't quite getting there. You need some advice and perhaps more training, this is where talking to people helps, to show your interest and willingness to 'get there'. Depending on the company and/or manager, they might support you, or they might have already decided that you're not going to be suitable.
- It's unlikely that you'll ever go back to the simple tasks, as they don't need people for that job function. They have a steady stream of new starters coming through to do these tasks. They're looking for people who can do your current job tasks and meet/exceed the KPIs, ideally new workers who bring ideas and skills with them to improve the business further.
- You either improve to meet their expectations, or ultimately, they let you go.
This is the reality of working in target driven call centre environments.
Any 'care' from them will only come once you're working at the required level (and even then it might not be much, depending on the company/work culture).
Until that point, you're nothing more than a tool that they're trying out, to be discarded if you're not useful to them (not meeting KPIs).
A manager will have their own KPIs to meet, if you're not helping them, it's often easier to 'get rid' rather than invest time in you (harsh but true).
Long term (successful) workers, will have seen dozens, if not hundreds of people pass through the business.
There are exceptions, some businesses have excellent systems and training in place, so that almost anyone can do ok. In my experience these are a tiny proportion of sales jobs.
If you want to be valued, be the best performer and smash the KPIs month after month. If you're performing well (earning them money) you will have a very different experience (and might be very well rewarded).
There's a reason why sales/call centre jobs are always available, it's simply staff churn.
These jobs can work very well for some people but they're not for everyone.
Perhaps you would be better suited doing something else?2
