p.s. this is £130 on Amazon at the moment, so definitely a misprice!!0

i find it hard to believe they'd reduce it so low though, even if it was hard to shift (which i also find hard to believe!)I'd too would like to think this was a true price, not a mis-price, as I suspect they are having trouble moving the box set.
I, like many others, have collected the individual series box sets as they were released and thus had no interest in the recently released very expensive full box set.
However, with series 9 still to buy I figured an extra £14 would be worth it for the full box, so I'm in and waiting to see if it's honoured.0 -
It s strange i just clicked on my order which is also on 9th January
But the link in the email they sent me states that the box set is
RRP 149.99 £27.00 Save £122.99 Funny misprint they havefurrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:

I agree, it doesn't look like a misprint at first glance because it would be hard to get both the reduced price and the total saving incorrect. I remember this being queried about a Play.com misprice on another forum sometime ago, and someone explained that the new price and saving is worked out automatically. Someone just enters in the percentage of the original price that it should be reduced by and the product page is displayed accordingly, so whoever made the mistake would only have to get one figure wrong. I assume that is what has happened here too.chocolate.orange wrote: »RRP 149.99 £27.00 Save £122.99 Funny misprint they have0 -
Damn it!!!!
Just had a cancellation notification via voice mail due to price errors!
Very dissapointed!
If other people received theirs, I'm going to be even more p'd, but good luck to you all!
P.S, when did you all place your orders?
Leximus - has your account order page on Tesco's website been updated to reflect the cancellation?
Also note that if this was a misprice Tesco are still showing the £27 price today with an OOS note. Not good. Would indicate that Tesco are using this to generate traffic for their other Seinfeld "offers" :rolleyes:0 -

Which link in the email?
My email only has links for "my order", help and further queries. If I look at my order it still states £27 plus shipping.0 -
I was disappointed to have missed the Tesco offer. I wasn't really surprised to find it at such a deep discount. Since Michael Richards racial tirade they have taken Seinfeld off Paramount Comedy channel completely. After that I was able to get seasons 7 and 8 on Amazon for £20!
I saw a few auctions for the complete set on Ebay for £90. I'm wondering if these folks didn't get them from Tesco.
For all of you who placed their orders fingers crossed you get them! :j0 -

That was purely coincidental. Paramounts rights had ended hence the reason the show came off air there and Virgin 1 picked them up and are being rerun there now.0 -
