Tomorrow and hit banks early next week. Saturday if people have had payments then.  Yeah filed on the 6th

Goodluck for tomorrow guys.. I hope it changes to issued tomorrow it will transform my whole weekend..

I submitted mine on the 6th and it still says bank repayment pending but it’s showing in my monzo account as being paid in in 4 days time, so I can get it on Friday, so hopefully will be the same for others even if the status on HMRC hasn’t changed yet. It’s my first time doing self assessment, and I only do it to claim back vehicle mileage, so I’m thrilled that I’ve done it correctly!

Hopefully it is fine but there is absolutely no guarantee that you have ‘done it correctly’. HMRC work on a ‘process now check later’ basis in such claims - as many unfortunate people using some of the less reputable claim companies have found to their cost.

Oh don’t worry I know that, I’m certain I’ve worked it all out correctly it was just ticking the right bits on the form and getting to this stage in the first place that was confusing for me after never needing to do it before!

Still pending for me, not sure if banks other than Monzo can tell you if a payment is due. I bank with chase and they said nothing showing as incoming so hoping it does go to issued tomorrow and clears Saturday/Monday

I’m not too sure. Did you try and contact the bank and ask? I was gonna ring mine and see they can see payments coming in but didn’t bother in the end. I’ve only heard of monzo that do it

I did ask Chase, they seemed to be confused with a card refund and BACS. They said I can see it as pending the same time they can, but that has only ever happened with card refunds not BACS. I assumed after that it was just a Monzo feature as Chase just said no incoming payments showing.

Ah I see. Fingers crossed we get repayment issued when the website updates tomorrow 🤞🤞
