Morning everyone I’m late again I took it in to my head that I would have a good tidy up outside and I went and got a few new plants it’s all done now old ones have been repotted and a few new ones put in I am making the most of it been dry although breezy let’s see how long it lasts. The food market was well attended last night but boy what a price it was mostly burgers and hog roasts a couple of cake stalls and beer but everyone seemed to enjoy it and I think most traders sold out it’s supposed to be going to be every month now I didn’t buy anything £4.50 for a scotch egg or 3 for £12 I know there was a few different flavors and they have got to make a living but I bought the hubby a black pudding one in the butchers this morning for a pound I know I’m tight but I enjoyed the atmosphere and a bit chat with everyone. Chrisca I hope you have a lovely relaxing weekend BOO to the boss there loss .Taff I worked in a chippy for nearly 20 years until the lockdown and I packed in as it was getting to much with all my other jobs but I still pop in they are proper fish and chips cooked in lard they are always busy but like everything else they are getting pricey. Snoozer when I worked in the cleaners we did a lot of holiday let’s laundry and they could tell you some horror stories some people are shocking I hope you get it all sorted . Must dash her ladyship is ready for another walk before she comes back for another snooze so I will make the most of the weather before it rains at least if I’m out with the dog I won’t have to listen to the hubby shouting at the football . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing10

Well Hello I'm back i have been reading along but life has got in the way and i have taken a few months out as i have been struggling a bit, made worse by the other executor to my mums will but after putting it in the hands of solicitors i have today after 3 years of moving here had the deeds in my name delivered so i can finally draw a line under this and start enjoying my home and plan for DH's retirement in 2 years
We enjoyed our Antarctic expedition cruise but if i ever see another whale or penguin it will be a day too soon Have to say my favourite thing was the iceberg garden and Deception Island (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deception_Island) we were also chased by a seal who kept trying to bite the inflatable we were in
Buenos Aires was lovely and i wish we had some more time there 1 day each end of the expedition was not enough
right i seem to have told my news looking forward to catching up with everything .
Have a good day whatever you are up to xSlava Ukraini10 -
Afternoon everyone
It's meant to get really windy here this afternoon, but it's ok at the minute. Little one arrived about 7.30 again - we've been to her swimming lesson and then to an Easter fun session at our local family centre, which she really enjoyed. We've had bacon rolls for lunch at her request and now I'm going to get washed up and my ironing done - so all my jobs are done ready for DD picking her up after 3pm.
Snoozer - that's awful. Years ago I used to work at one of our local holiday parks - some of the caravans used to be left in terrible states.
Little one just reminded me of one of her favourite things in London - a one-legged pigeon in Trafalgar Square!
She spent ages watching it. I remember Trafalgar Square being full of pigeons but there were only a few - does anyone know if something has been done to scare them away?
Better get on, I'm being lazy now I've sat down. Hope everyone has a good day x

I can remember years ago you could buy food in the Square and feed the pigeons and you'd take loads of photos of them sitting on your head etc but I've just looked it up and apparently feeding the pigeons were banned in 2003. I'm sure Nelson on his column is pleased about that though lol
