Outfox the Market refund

Having accumulated a £500 credit with OUTFOX  the Market I  have been trying to obtain a refund without much luck, despite e.mails acknowledging the credit and  been,  given a 2 week refund date nothing transpired. Some days and more e.mails later I received a refund of £126 which when queried they apologised and promised to refund and would confirm by e.mail that day, days later no e.mail or refund received

Vote with your feet and initiate a switch to a decent provider, this will trigger a final bill and the return of ALL credit, if any.

Not in my experience, albeit of around 5 years ago. I got the final bill OK but it took a number of emails to get my credit back, long after the 6 weeks they are supposed to settle the account in. Didn't get the £3o compensation for late refund, either (although it is possible that rule has been brought in subsequently).

Other way round when I was with them.  Got the credit but not the final bill.

The compensation thing dates from May 2019.

I am with Outfox the market.  A few months ago I had built quite a bit of credit up. I went on their online chat and got it back within a few days. They even sent a message saying the exact date that I would get it

My Aunt passed last year leaving me as next of kin and executor. I have dealt with everything easily as she didn't have a property and very little in the bank who did not require Grant of Probate to release the funds. Outfox The Market are now the last service I have to deal with and they are refusing to release a refund of almost £500 without Grant of Probate, despite have sent the Death Certificate and copy of the Will showing me as executor. The outstanding amount is  sat in an OTM account which is in MY NAME!!!!
DO I really need to go through the bother of gaining Grant of Probate for this refund??
HELP!
