Bit of fun - A few years ago our car got hit while outside our house.  It was on a Sunday evening.  There was a knock on the door and a nice man from the Ambulance Service explained what had happened.  It was a non emergency ambulance delivering a patient.     One wing was badly dented.

 He gave us the NHS insurance details and a few days later someone turned up to take the car to be fixed and gave us a virtually new Mercedes to use in the interim.  Our car was quite old but it was a Lexus and they have to give you a like for like brand.  We had it for a week and made the most of it by having some nice trips out.  My husband said the Lexus was much nicer and he couldn’t wait to get it back.

when we got it back the garage they used had done a superb job, there wasn’t a scratch in sight.

Its nice to know the NHS do get things right
