Can’t get refund - ongoing since September

Hello all,

I hope you are all well.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I will try to keep this as brief as possible.

In august myself and my partner ordered from Studio, we ordered from Studio as my partners father works in Studio and at the time he got a discount so we furnished our entire house by using his account. 2 months after we ordered a bedroom set, we was notified the items was sold out. We chose another set and waited another month for then to be told we’d only receive half of the order. A month later we got a credit of £100.00++ on the account.

I have emailed on both mine and my girlfriends fathers email and I’ve been told on several occasions they will refund me and then after I’ve been told this, I get no further response even after waiting months. I have put in several formal complaints and still no response.

I recently went to my bank who did say I could have fallen under section 75 but as it’s passed the 120 days there’s nothing they can do for me.

Does anyone else have any other advice please?. It would be greatly appreciated.

120 days is the time limit for Chargebacks not S75

For S75 there is the normal 6 year limit as per statute of limitations however there is a big worry as to if S75 will apply given you mentioned you ordered from your fathers account. 

Presumably you did pay by credit card? Who's name is on the invoice (not the delivery note etc)?

The problem is, I made the purchase in my card and name but I did it all logged on to his studio account.
