Buying a property near a Historic landfill site.

Hello everyone,
I am buying a property in Swindon with final paper work getting ready for exchange. I just found out that there is a historic landfill aprox 0.6 miles (900m) away from the property. There are lot of new built homes which are even more closer to that landfill. The last input for the landfill was in 1986 and they use to take inert, industrial and commercial waste. The environmental search result for contaminated land liability said 'Passed' and flooding 'Negligible'. Also on the report it said Former land fill 'Not identified'.
Should i be really concerned? is it going to effect the property price in the future. The property was built in 2015 and I am buying it from the first owner. A bit of advice would be much appreciated as I am a first time buyer. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

I don't think there's anything to worry about, especially if you're uphill of it.
What does your solicitor say?

There is an historic landfill site about 500 yrds from the middle of Keswick town centre, which if you're familiar with the town, is one of the most desirable towns in the Lake District, and houses prices are very, very high compared to the surrounding towns.
I think its fair to say that the presence of the landfill site has never affected the house prices (most locals don't even know its there).1 -
good red industrys stop the stink, 5 miles away and it reaksDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
