I am looking for some case law, DVLA is bringing a case for no SORN. This is down to their own maladministration
DVLA is the prosecuting authority in this case
So looking for some case law for D to assist them in their defence,
anything that could be relevant please let me know

So prosecution for not paying VED or having no insurance? Had your SORNed it or did you have VED/Insurance?0

I don’t think anyone can offer any advice on such scant information a lot more detail required.0

If the case is the result of something the DVLA did or didn't do, the CRA 2015 would apply, and possibly something about misconduct in a public office.
What about lack of fair notice of processing under DPA rules/regs?
Did the defendant complain beforehand, and was ADR offered?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks1 -
I'd be astonished if any DVLA case had ever made it to the higher courts, therefore case law is unlikely to exist.0
