Installing a Fischer electric heating system has nearly quadrupled the energy bill!

It's nearer a quarter of the price, using the national average figures.  1kWh of heat delivered via electricity is 3.65 times the cost of 1kWh of heat delivered by a 90% efficient gas boiler.
