Insurance for multiple overseas domestic flight

Hi
We're off to Canada for a month and taking 4 internal flights.
When I check our travel insurance it appears that we're only covered for delays/missed flights on the initial flight to Toronto and then the flights back from Vancouver to Toronto and back to Manchester.

Question is, is anyone aware of insurance you can get for the internal flights in Canada for the summer as I know there were quite a few wildfires last year and a number of flights were delayed and cancelled, and if we had to find alternative accomodation for a few days, and cancel pre booked accomodation at the destination, I'd like to know if this is insurable....
Thanks

It is insurable, but most things are if they aren't benefiting from illegal activity (eg drink driving insurance that got banned, ironically) or its a known event (eg trying to buy private medical insurance after getting a cancer diagnosis).
This isn't really the question though, the question is if any mass market consumer insurer offers cover for it... I'm sure you wouldn't be interested in paying the thousands for a bespokely underwritten policy from a Lloyds Syndicate.
Travel isn't my biggest area of interest so could be policies that exist but I dont recall any that are clear that they do. Checking a couple they are clear that they dont. Staysure's Live Chat claim that they do but I've spoken to them before and they always offer the moon on a stick but their wordings dont have anything to support it.0
