Re-serving the Prescribed Information on a renewal tenancy

What are your views on re-serving the Prescribed Information on a renewal tenancy? Some sources say it is not necessary but others say it needs to be done. Consider the following example:
I have a 12 month fixed term tenancy with my tenant that began 15th May 2023. I protected my tenants deposit under the Insured Scheme with the DPS and served the Prescribe information on the same day I received the deposit.
I have a 12 month fixed term tenancy with my tenant that began 15th May 2023. I protected my tenants deposit under the Insured Scheme with the DPS and served the Prescribe information on the same day I received the deposit.
My tenants are happy to stay another 12 months. So I recently signed a renewal tenancy with that begins on 15th May 2024. I also re-served the Prescribed Information.
However I cannot renew the deposit with the DPS until 1 month before the fixed term end date, i.e. around 15th April 2024. It would be at this point I receive an email from the DPS to confirm the deposit is protected for the renewal tenancy.
My question is this: would I need re-serve the Prescribed information after I receive the aforementioned email?
Or is it satisfactory that I have re-served the Prescribed information on the signing of the renewal tenancy (technically it has to be done within 30 days of receiving the deposit, and the deposit has already been received)?
I appreciate your help.
I appreciate your help.

No point IMHO doing renewal anyway, just provides more security of tenure for tenant and means landlord has to wait longer to evict, plus chance of getting some paperwork wrong.
WHY are you renewing please? What benefits to landlord?0
