Aldermore Bank Question

Opened a Regular Saver earlier, had an email with account details on, what I find strange is the email says they are going to send my Customer ID in a separate email.

Any idea when that email is going to turn up? 🤔🙄😏

Have you checked junk/spam folder?

I have a vague memory when I started with Aldermore that the customer ID was sent by post, rather than by e mail. Maybe it was just confirmed by post.
Whichever way there was a delay of two or three days . Otherwise though an easy/efficient company to deal with.

Got the email this morning 🙂, not sure why they do that though 🤔

It's meant as a security measure but as email is not a secure means of delivering sensitive material??

I'm confused as to why they are separate emails & why they were a day apart.

I didn't mention security.
