M and S - or not?!

Am I being unreasonable to expect these to be identifiable as M and S? The packaging on the socks doesn't mention Marks and Spencer at all.

P + P was charged at £4.00 to cover actual postage cost of £2.38 and paper wrapping that split in the post. I feel I was robbed!!!

I would of thought that the label would of said in small writing m&s somewhere.

ALso on postage costs, what i normally do is take that into account with my bid. so for example if i am willing to pay £10 and postage is £3 then i will only bid £7.

People often use this approach with postage, as then you dont have to pay ebay fee's on it.

The are some Neon Signs like this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=569&item=6123554603&rd=1 where they do the whole cost as postage, and you only bid a penny if you want to buy - That way the seller pays no commision to ebay!!! Clever I suppose....

Have you contacted the seller of the socks and asked him about it?
