My mouse cursor has started disappearing within seconds of my opening a word document - any word doc, any size...
Is there a known fault within word ?
I have updated the program to see if that helps - no change !
The cursor appears to vanish as soon as I move the mouse
it is from Office 2016 pro plus

If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

Does it happen with other programs, for example Excel?  How do you "get it back"?  Is it perhaps the mouse, battery check, is it wireless or cabled?

Yes it's every program in office
And it's not the mouse /hardware faulty
    It's Windows

Even MSI Center won't  run - when I try, I nothing
So I tried downloading the utility again (from MS App store)
    I got :
This doesn't make any sense - does downloading an .exe file need an app associated with it ?
if so how do I associate it with the exe file - because there is no .exe option in settings/ default apps.......

Do you mean Mouse pointer or the cursor? They are different things

Mouse pointer is the little arrow that moves with the mouse and can change to a caret or cross.

Cursor is the vertical line that shows were the next letter or number typed will go.

The pointer should disappear while you are typing. When you move the mouse it will reappear.

The cursor will be visible most of the time but will disappear when you do certain actions like select text or spell check.

Do you have an MSI motherboard? Why are you trying to run MSI centre?
