Morning all - another early rise for us but I am still in my pjs.
I did manage a day indoors yesterday - first for 69 days.
Mr F has gone into town with a trolley of stuff for the charity shop.
I am going to get dressed and crack on with making cards.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

ing! It's sunny, that's two days on the trot even i if it did pour down yesterday afternoon and beyond. I have an agenda today, put up a shelf for my mixer, and tidy up in a vicious fashion..I am fed up of things hanging around, I am fed up of having to move something to get to something else. And my tomatoes need pottng on. I think I have the spring cleaning blues. On the plus side, nothing much is happening, I have no appointments this week so woop. I also booked tickets to go tot he Grdeners World Spring Fair, fancy name for a big market I'd say, but looking forward to that. Hope I can stay awake for the drive otherwise I'll be scaring the friend coming with me
And I have yet to plan my jaunt up North...Can't get my head round it's April already!
camelot, hope she can be helped a bit more and they both step up a bit. SO, I'm not going to say it gets easier but I will say you get distracted by more things...TA, fingers crossed she comes! Ruby, enjoy the impromptu day off, sounds like funIzzy, bask in your retirement glory!
Chris, four more days to go! Florence, slow down! Take care all, hope you've got sun today for a bit at least....

Morning all (just),
Hope you all had a good Easter weekend. Well done for getting out and about @silver-oldie x
I am back on my JoGLE hike from Thursday - this time Crewe to Bristol. Hoping the train from London to Crewe will actually run given it's a train drivers overtime ban day.... Also hoping our route isn't flooded.....
Spoke to my DDad last night - he's okay. A bit of discomfort when he pees so he has a urine test later today. He plans to come over in June for DS1s wedding but hasn't booked a flight just yet.
Dinner tonight is smoked salmon and pea pasta courtesy of DH (aka Gino D'A) - nice and easy. Might go see the new Ghostbusters film afterwards. Saw A Mothers Instinct last night - a few jump scares that we didn't expect!
Have a good day all and hope you get to see your buddie @TravellingAbuela x

Hi everyone,
Camelot, it's often the way, two of my brothers lived 15 minutes from mum and yet I (over 3 hours away) visited more often. Having said that my youngest brother who also lived 15 minutes away was a real hero and visited her almost every day.
TA, I hope your friend manages to get out. Some of you might remember Hester who used to post on here quite regularly, I know some others read her blog but since her husband had a stroke a few years ago his personality has changed completely and she finds it difficult to have any kind of social life.
I've finished sorting the children's craft things and have nearly done my sewing table so the dining room is almost finished. Next stop the utility room, or rather two cupboards in there (the others were done recently). I've just ordered a smaller ironing board rather than the behemoth I have, it's huge which I thought was a good idea at the time but it's size and weight put me off using it - I only iron linen things but I also need it for my sewing.
Have a good day.10 -
Afternoon all, bit dull now and a few dark clouds but no rain upto now. I popped into town this morning, veg and a bit of meat off the market, library to return a book DH had, I got 1 for me, then Pound land for wildbird food. Back on the bus home in time for lunch
Hope you get out TA, and well done SO with your walks. Poor Auntie ,Camelot

Enjoy your unexpected day off Ruby.Taff- April? me neither, it's only just been XmasCoxy hope your train is ok, we've had an outing to M/cr planned for Thursday for ages to meet up with friends for lunch, I did curse a bit when I read the action days ! I'll read the live departures before we set off.I'm going to cook the chicken tonight but I don't think DS will be in.Struggling to get our printer to connect with our new internet provider, I'm going to have to trawl through a box to find the instructions. DH wanted an invoice printing so he can get some money in earlier & I had to do it via the old provider that fortunately hasnt finished yet for a week or 2.Take care all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
