I cancelled it and bought my euros from an M & S currency place in a store. I commented to the guy about the poor rate at the machine and he said this was normal for all ATM's at the stations. can't answer your other questions. Will you actually need much cash? Depends which EU country you are going to.eDicky said:Are you flying from Stansted, Gatwick or Southend?Ok, what you are looking for may still exist in the form of MoneyCorp multi-currency ATMs, which (used to and maybe still do) allow you to decline DCC by giving you the option to select 'Without Conversion' when using a credit card or some debit cards such as Starling or Monzo, to withdraw foreign currency. Don't try Revolut, multi conversion can occur. No other such ATMs exist, and they are (or were) only at LGW, STN and SEN. Please let us know if you find that it exists and still works. See this old thread if you're interested enough:But as Zagfles mentions, it's unlikely that cash euros are any more useful than GBP anywhere outside the EU.
