Incorrect Status 8 on Credit File by ADMIRAL FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS LTD

So, it turns out there are some mistakes on my credit file, specifically a default (code 8) that shouldn't be there. This happened after I returned a vehicle to them in December 2023 to ADMIRAL FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS LTD.

Unfortunately, this mistake has caused some serious problems for me. My mortgage application got rejected because of them, which is really frustrating. Plus, I had to spend money to get a detailed review of my credit file to figure out what went wrong.

I've already taken steps to sort this out. I've contacted the Financial Ombudsman and made a formal complaint. But I really need ADMIRAL FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS LTD to fix this as soon as possible. It's really affecting my finances, and I'm hoping they'll take it seriously and sort it out quickly.

Presumably you first complained to Admiral and asked them to add a correction to your file.  Once that's agreed and done it often takes up to 3 months for your credit file to be updated.

If you are applying for anything and also provide a copy of Admiral's admission of error that may convince the mortgage company.
