Hello,
I am looking to replacing my twin tub machine with a automatic washing machine.
I live in a flat and I great on great with my neighbours below I have wooden floors so I am looking for a quiet machine (is there such a thing) or as quiet as possible anyone got any recommendations on what to buy and any tips for dealing with the noise please?
Thanks Inadvance

Make sure the WM is installed level.
You could buy some foam pipe lagging, space four rows of the material out equally on the floor, put a 600mm x600mm piece of chipboard on top of the foam, then install WM.
If the WM is near a pipe chase and there is an access hatch, you could stuff insulation in the void.
There are some WM's that use induction motors ? which are quieter.
Wish we all had neighbours like you0 -
eco-friendly thanks for your reply.
The council are fitting a kichen in so I thought I might as well get me a new washing machine still trying to decide which make to get. I've saved up the money, thought I get one in the sales. My sister has had a few over the years so It looks like she coming shopping with me.0
