It must be great to be in the top 1% and have the financial resources to able to live in an ugly square box of bricks.
More seriously, yet another house with an internal makeover and an expectation that will make the house worth double what similar houses go for.
I want to see if I can edit a relevant photo I took today in Amsterdam.

More on forum topic, this shows why we often get people posting that they live in London and it's difficult to buy. And then others will suggest moving out of London. And sometimes moving out of London will be a fate worse than death it seems.
Edit: found it.

Has a huge basement. Really strange house as looks so bog standard but it's huge and across 3 floors
Price tag is ridiculous

Robert Maxwell used to rent Heddington Hill Hall from Oxford council for several years (thus council house). That would be worth in the millions today, easily...

Probably a good example of 'over developing'. They can ask whatever they want, I think it should be up at £4M, I mean, what's another £500K to a serious buyer?

It’s £1000 a sq ft, which is very very roughly the going rate in London. Except that quite a bit of the space is in the basement, which is less attractive. I wonder whether he’ll find a buyer? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
