SABA and ZZPS

Hi 

I am hoping someone can help as not just a straight forward parking fine issue and not sure what to do.

Today I received a Debt Collection Notice from ZZPS for a unpaid debt of £170 - £100 penalty notice and £70 admin fee. The letter is dated 21 March. 

The client is SABA and is for a penalty for parking at a railway station.

I parked at the railway station on 12 February.  My mum (being helpful) purchased my car park ticket online but put my registration number incorrectly.  Two letters were around the wrong way e.g. XX67 HBT but was entered as XX67 BHT.

Today is the first I knew anything about a parking fine.  I have not received any communication at all from SABA regarding this.  My name and address are correct of my V5.

Please can anyone offer any help as I just cannot afford to pay £170 and do not want this to affect my credit rating.

It is a straightforward case.  See the fourth post of the NEWBIES thread.  This trash doesn't affect your credit rating and you will never pay £170. You'll pay nothing with us.

Looks like you've been affected by this

So many people don't receive 1st and/or 2nd pcn but the £170 payment due letter often manages to drop through letter boxes. PPCs always claim discounted/full rate pcns, court claim/discontinuation letters were sent as dated though they offer no evidence to prove this.

Since they CHOOSE NOT to provide evidence of their posting we must continue to press gov to ensure they do and see it included in the new Parking CoP. Please sign/share @jmccabe petition closes 22nd june 2024.

Thank you Coupon-mad,  very glad to hear this is a straight forward parking fine issue. 

I did contact ZZPP to explain. That was because I was so shocked at the £170 they were asking for but what I should have done was come here first. I am putting that down to my youth and inexperience 

 I am hoping that contacting them will not alter anything but I am sure I will find that somewhere in the NEWBIES thread.

Just ignore ZZPS now but if you move house, for 6 years you must tell them and the PPC to erase the old address.  Not by phone, obviously!

Seems like somebody forgot to tell SABA  that ZZPS are simply powerless money scammers .... never contact ZZPS again, they added the fake £70 it's their dinner money WHICH YOU DON'T OWE.   KNOWN AS THE OSNER SCAM

Be prepared to receive another letter from GCTT, a ZZPS company who talk as much rubbish as ZZPS... same old, same old junk
