Handyman service

Age UK have a handyman service in my area of West Yorkshire.
It's for over 60s for home owners and social housing.
I've had a door chain ..key safe..and furniture moved for cleaning.
Payment is required for materials.
Worth checking your local branch

we don't have the age concern, and the handyvan is only for means tested and the like, not for ordinary pensioners.

Same here, the idea is not to compete or take work or income away from tradesmen, odd jobbers etc whose livelihood it is

Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens
  • Which?  Trusted Traders might be a better option if you want a trader who is unlikely to rip you off - otherwise ask friends who you trust....
