    I'm looking now but so far only found one that "chirps" until the actual car alarm is activated or someone goes inside the car. A good idea, but have to wonder if the neighbours will ignore it and they'll get all excited by the sounds coming out of the car and mess all the more.

    When i stayed at my previous house my car alarm would be set off by the local kids (aged around 6) playing with their ball and deliberately aiming it at my car. One of them eventually told me they liked doing it because they thought i might come and chase them.

    i know it's slightly different and i'm talking about children, but that's the mentality of the people you're dealing with.
