Selling old jewellery

Shop around go to a few jewellers, cash for gold places and if you can try to get a rough idea weight wise before you go. Also try local auction houses as you may get a nice surprise. In the past I popped my wedding ring on the postal scales at work just out of curiosity to see how much it weighed. If you are local to Birmingham you could try the jewellery quarter as there are loads of little shops who might buy it off you but as I said before shop around price wise as it can vary by a lot.0
