Aged Debt 2009

Capital Finacial and Linked Finacial are still chasing me for an aged dept from 2009. There is no court order and they keep writing to anyone with my surname at adresses I've lived at since then. I still keep getting letters and phone calls and texts asking me to get in touch. I ignore them. My exwife just got a letter at her address. I told her not to get in touch a send me a copy of the letter, however she may have ignored me. We are divorced but haven't done the financial settlement. This letter she claims she received is in my name for me. I left my wife because of her behaviour a very long time ago and she is still bitter so not sure what she'll do as I ignore them but she now says she has contacted them.
What do I do. Is there a letter I can send them. Even my mother receives letters at her address from time to time.
Thank you.

Send them a statute barred letter (debt camel has a template)
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
