Prices for agile etc are wholesale based and vary day by day/hour by hour so you need to adjust how you use electricity to gain best results. Very cheap if you have solar/batteries and can shift time of use.

I am having an ASHP installed next week; I already have solar panels and GivEnergy battery. My energy supplier is Octopus energy I need to choose between Cosy Tariff and Intelligent Octopus flex (which I am on now). Which is cheaper/better?
Only me so I use relatively small amount of electricity.0 -

however, I am considering the agile or the tracker ones, but I have no indication on what are the prices there, as those are at wholesale market prices.0 -

Which is cheaper/better?In the winter, when you're buying more electricity than you're exporting, I would expect Cosy to be cheaper. In the summer, when you're exporting more, Intelligent Flux is likely to be cheaper.I've assumed that you can persuade your battery to charge from the grid during the cheap Cosy rate in the winter, and to export during the Intelligent Flux peak in the summer.N. Yes I can get my battery to charge from the grid - haven't tested with Cosy as yet. Thanks for your suggestion.0
