No win no fee breakdown costs

Im on a no win no fee conditional contract. Do I have a right to ask for a breakdown of the costs of the work that has been carried out so far on my case?

You can ask for it, obviously it will add more cost as they have to produce it for you.

I’m looking at pulling out of the conditional contract. But scared they will then just add “extra” costs on top.

They should have given you their rates at the start of the process.

There's no reason for them to add things on top but just be aware they do charge for everything... another poster here was shocked when their legal bill included a few blocks of a 5 minutes (probably the minimum charging period) from when they were exchanging emails in December about Xmas etc.

So every call, every email, reviewing everything you sent. Everything that came in from the other side, experts etc all comes with a time allocation and cost.
