Lands End Potential Parking fine

Hello everyone,
I went to Lands End on my motorbike the other day. It's a one-way road to the site, and it states that there are car parking charges that go to support the landscape once you get to their gate. But there's no chance of turning around before this. So you're clocked by the ANPR, which I'm guessing is on entry(I'm not sure.)
I turned into the car park and realised it was not ideal for a photoshoot, so I immediately left and went further up the site to see if there was anything more ideal. But there wasn't, so I turned around, pulled over, set my Satnav, and left. But only when I left did I notice the ANPR camera.
However, I never paid for parking because I never parked.
Now I'm expecting a notice in the letter for £100(based on the reviews for this site); I doubt there is a grace period. I've seen the grace period is a minimum of 5 minutes based of the BPA code of practice, but being on a motorbike means manoeuvrability isn't as quick as a car when it comes to turning around. When I stopped on the side of the road on their site to set my satnav, that would have clocked me over the time too.
They're a PPC and a member of the BPA, but nothing else.
I will appeal if it comes through, but in the worst case, can I just ignore it?
I've seen threads saying to get an MP to complain, but I don't live in Cornwall, So which MP do I get to do it, My local one?
Any support would be greatly appreciated.

Which parking firm? That information is important to any advice/decision to ignore.I would think a motorbike's VRM plate is so easy to pop a carrier bag over (likely only the rear plate is capable of being captured by ANPR), and keep it on for a few yards beyond the camera - in and out. No chance of a notice in the post. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I live near there,I avoid lands end cos it's a tacky site. the place is a joke, it says free admission, in their adverts, but they forget to say it's £2 for parking.
.
it's been a while since I've been there, last time they had someone in a hut at the entrance collecting your money, maybe that only happens in the summer.
normally the grace period imo is 15 mins in most private car parks.im not sure about lands end.
on the final approach to lands end its a rural road, no towns or anything, but guess what the council double yellow the mile leading up to lands end site
unbelievable but true.
I've know folk quickly eat a bag of chips and a sea view or drive round and around in the summer in the carpark s looking for a space, then give up and drive out at some seaside car parks in Cornwall and still get a parking charge notice
is it possible to do a street view to see what it stated in the car park notice board to see the grace period
I was done in the range car park in Cornwall about 10 years ago, that was before the grace period was increased to 15 mins by a regulation
when I got done in the range car park,I had an 8 month battle with parking eye, I ended up using an ombudsman who haggled for me ,I ended up paying 50% of the parking charge noticeChristians Against Poverty solved my debt problem, when all other debt charities failed. Is it Alliance Parking there according to the reviews? Or Armtrac?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Be interesting to ask for images of you arriving and leaving, no front Reg plate - might confuse them as I'd imagine software searches for the plate entering and leaving. Based on that I wonder if they even pick up bikes? next time do a wheelie past the camera so the plate is down

tbh you used the site to take a photo or planned to.
you didn't want to go into the visitor centre. the grace period is for reading the notice board ,deciding if you want to stay and pay the prices and for looking for a parking space.
we have had folk in Cornwall in the local papers saying we popped into eat a bag of chips in our car and we got a PCN
oh my goodness they say to the journalists, well as much as it sucks, I prefer to go to council car parks out of season or in evening, cos they are free and you can eat a bag of chips and a seaview for hours for nowt.
as for removing plates, the police would hit with more than the £2 entry fee if they saw you doing it or another motorist filmed you doing it.
