Good news then! What happened at POPLA?SweeneyJN said:I have a text from her....requesting PCN numbers...she phone me 2 or 3 times to remind to send them, Think it will be ok - but yes final confirmation needed
Sequence of events
1. Fine issued
2. UKPC appeal declined (but the asked for £20 instead of £60
3. POPLA appeal declined
4. Landowner contacted - agrees to get both fines removed
5. UKPC write "We have investigated the appeal based on information you have submitted and confirm in this instance the parking charge has been cancelled" (This is not true of course - I submitted no further information but the landowner telling them to 'drop it' was the trigger
My employer is still receiving letters demanding money (these are makd to look like County Court Fines) . Hopefully this will stop soon . It's another form of intimidation .

Please stop referring to them as "fines" it does not help especially when requesting landowners help! The whole business model of a PPC is to dress everything up on the boundaries of looking official it's how they scare the less well informed so yes it could be seen as intimidation, but in an unregulated industry they get away with it.If the charge has been cancelled it should show as such on the UKPC portal. Are these letters coming from debt collectors Debt Recovery Plus maybe?
