Had someone recently make a ridiculous offer on something (around 80% lower than I was asking). I declined the offer and then they kept on making offers, which were also declined. When they ran out of offers, they started making offers by messages, including some which were exactly the same as the ones I’d previously declined. In the end, I had to ignore their messages.

If I get one of these, I block them at the first ridiculous offer. IME these losers will invariably not use the other two offers sensibly, so save yourself some time and aggro by  blocking them straight off. This has the added bonus of stopping them from messaging you too.

Save yourself time and agro by putting a lower limit on offers.
    It's not hard.

I've got limits set on my offers, still get the odd message saying something like "just sent an offer but it auto declined, whats your lowest?"  :D
and I'd love to reply with something funny but I just ignore them

I do it this way because some of the stuff I sell isn't easy to put a price on, so I'll stick a high price on it and see what offers come in. I certainly can't be bothered setting a lower limit on offers for each of 100 listings, and it doesn't take long to block anyone I think is taking the p***.

We are obviously very different sellers.

I can get price comparisons for most of my listings.
And I generally have no more than 50 listings at one time, usually not all listed at the same time.

I'm in the process of decluttering, I wouldn't use eBay if it were not for the 80% off fees email I get every fortnight. Consequently 100 items go on each time I get the offer. Some of the stuff I sell there might be five or six others on at the same time, which is fine, but some other things I'm getting rid of are a bit niche and I've got no real way of knowing what someone might pay for them.
