Share save options

Hoping someone can shed some light on this for me,I’ve done a bit of digging/searching but can’t find much to match the exact query so:

Ive just had a sharesave scheme come to an end and the options I was offered was

Transfer the shares to global nominee-what is this?

Transfer to S&S isa with scheme provider

Receive shares in form of share certificate

Sell shares and recieve proceeds

For info the share cost for me was 55p per share and current share price is 1.35p, I paid in £1800 and current price is around £4300

Ideally I want to keep the shares and my preferred option initially was the ISA route however this has now been dropped from the options as I haven’t exercised it by x date-I have also already paid into a S&S isa this year elsewhere so this obviously was never an option anyway-I had hoped I could wait until the new financial year and exercise it then but that’s now not possible

So I guess the questions are if I take the shares in form of certificate how easy are
they to transfer into something electronically? -ie a share dealing platform-I have a Freetrade account and also a vanguard account too-would I be able to lodge my shares into either of those easily enough?

I guess another option would be to sell
and receive the profits from sharesave provider and then purchase the shares again/buy back in using Freetrade-I can do this pretty easily through bank & Freetrade account as I move money between those 2 regularly, call me stupid but I’m having a hard time working out if that makes sense as I’d obviously be buying back in at a much higher price hence holding less shares, please someone shed some light on this for me?
