Hello everyone.
Late one from me...I had to be up and out earlier this morning as I was little one's 'guest' at her Easter crafts morning at school - DD was working today.
We had a lovely morning, each classroom ( there are only 3 !) had 3 different activities to do - little one of course chose the messiest ones! Then we had an Easter egg hunt in the school garden - all the children were given a laminated half Easter egg and had to find the matching half. It was lovely to see them all racing about and the bigger children helping the little ones - then they all got an Easter egg to take home. Little one and I ate half of hers when we got home and let half for her to share with DD later. I won an egg at DD's work raffle, so little ones' eyes lit up - we'll share it at the weekend.
Tomorrow it's schools' Easter church service so I'll be there too - I'm loving having all these things to go again with little one.
Right I'm going to wash my dishes up and then read some of my Sunday Times - I haven't even opened it yet.
Hope everyone had a good day x

Hi everyone,
Apologies for lack of posting. I’ve been reading along but usually after work when it’s a bit late to post.
I’ve missed birthdays, poorly babies, @IzzyBee’s retirement and @nannywindow’s hospital procedure. So sorry – hope you’re all doing okay.
It’s DH’s birthday today. After raising a grievance that was thrown out, he was officially let go last Tuesday. The severance package will see us right for a time, but obviously he is looking for something new. In the meantime I’ve been keeping him busy with jobs around the home. Only 2 injuries so far including a ‘take your husband to work day’ for me last week – don’t ask….
DD has been successful in finding perm employment at her current place, so is very happy.
In terms of OS (because thems the rules) I’m pleased that we have stuck to our food and car fuel budget this month and actually had some cash leftover. All meals are planned and shopped for weekly. We’ve decluttered 3 bags to the CS this week too, and DH took a big bag of soft plastics to recycle. Amazing how it all mounts up.
Wishing you all a good evening.
Coxy
