Gatehouse Bank Savings Question

So I opened the 7% Regular Savings Account before they stopped it, now the app is saying:

Your Nominated Account must be authenticated before it can be used for withdrawals.

Few things:
1) How do I do this?, can't see an option in app.🤔

2) Do I need to do this?, the account is for a year anyway 🤔

Gatehouse Bank is new to my collection of accounts so could do with some help.

I have that too.
I think they sent me a code but not sure.
Give them a call they are very nice.

They'll send you a pin code for the a/c you entered at the application stage. Logon and enter it on the website. If you don't do it then you can't make any withdrawals when it matures.Pretty standard stuff really.

My PIN code arrived a few days after I opened my account and the Nominated Account could be set up in less than a minute

You should receive a pin code in the post over the next few days, which you can use to authenticate your nominated account, there should be an option to enter the code in online banking.
