Tumble dryer in a new house

I seen a nice property but it has a dish washer and washing machine. Semi old plan no kitchen door I am unsure where I could put a tumble dryer? Bedroom? Out door summer house with power? A washer dryer combo? Sit it on floor? Quite narrow kitchen. Semi detached ones more room for one so how would this work? Anybody got any sort of open plan or small kitchen any ideas?

We put our condensing tumble drier in the cupboard under the stairs as we didn't have anywhere suitable to put a normal one.1

You've choices like put in a washer dryer, replace the dishwasher with a dryer, lose a cupboard for the dryer or move it out the kitchen.
We've a great little storage room that would make a good laundry room but unfortunately no water/waste there and no obvious ways to get any there so we have a washer where the old washer/dryer was and the dryer is in a former cupboard of the island opposite it. Its a heat pump condenser so no need for it to be plumbed in.1 -
My sister had a similar problem and put her dryer in a cupboard on the upstairs landing.0

I know for many this may seem long, I moved my washing machine and tumble dryer out into the garage. Yes we have to go outside to do our laundry but we enjoy the extra storage space in the kitchen. Combined washer/dryer mmmm, not for me, their functionality can be loooooonngg(long). So my answer to your question will be to place the dryer in the outhouse.Initial mortgage bal £487.5k, current £258k, target £243,750(halfway!)

Tumble drier is not a 'must have' item. It is possible to dry clothes by other means.0
