Hi guys,
I have £30000 credit card debt that I soon won’t be able to make minimum payments for.
I would like to apply for DRO or bankruptcy but I now live in Czech Republic. I meet the criteria as I have been a UK resident in past three years.
Does anyone have any experience with dealing with DRO or Bankruptcy from outside of UK?
I’m mainly interested if I would have to collect all evidence from Czech Republic and translate it for the official receiver etc
Kind regards

Ideally, I would like to have the whole process finished in a year with no more debt hanging over my shoulder.0 -
If you have surplus income the whole process will take three times longer than a year.0

The answers in that thread told you your debt would not be chased abroad, so no need to do anything other than giving your creditors your current address so they don't contact your parents address. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.1

Your debt seems to have increased since your last post, is it now at 30k?
You can only apply online for bankruptcy, here-

Or, if you meet the criteria for a DRO, you can apply here -

Or, you can do nothing, and nothing will happen, but its entirely up you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
