Ruby, I agree with you about her. I don't know what it is about people that they think they have the right to know the ins and outs of someone life they don't know. It's nobodys business but theirs and if they want to share, fine, but if they don't, leave them alone. Shame we can't go back to the day when newspapers just reported the news and didn't make it up as they went along. How's the retirment going Izzy? Have you found five hundred things to do yet?
My parents always said they didn't know when they had time for work after they did, having no pressure to do or go or be anything helped i think. But then, they always had something to do...

Morning all, I'm still here and have been reading along on my phone. It's sunny with wintery showers but quite cold today. Yesterday I had to have an emergency visit the hospital clinic as the district nurse wasn't happy with something but all was good in the end although I was told off for running before I can walk, so I'm on strict orders to rest more. Oops !! Everyone has been just fabulous though and I can't praise the staff enough.
Today Mr Fix It has done the washing and later I will have my first shower, no doubt he will be hovering somewhere near! We decided to treat ourselves to a chippy lunch yesterday and my fish portion was so big and delicious that I have enough for today too, well waste not etc. I found out yesterday that the house next door is back on the market, it's a shame as I shall lose my lovely neighbours but sadly they can't afford the rent rise that the landlord wants.
AA loving the van and your dog. Enjoy your holiday.
Taff slow down please and not be the bull in the china shop. I know how hard that is because I'm guilty of that too. Take care all

Taff I haven’t had a minute how I ever found time to work I don’t know I have kept my couple of cleaning jobs on I’ve done them for years and it’s the only thing helping me know what day it is I haven’t got a clue but I must say I’m loving it wish I had been in a position to retire earlier8

Hello everyone
Late one from me, thanks to a 5 year old. She stayed here last night as DD started work early this morning....she woke me just before 6am...and then talked so much while claiming she was trying to be quiet ...I gave in and gave her my ipad just before 7.
We got the bus down to her swimming lesson as it was so windy and really cold. She managed to be brave and go in the big pool today ( last time she point blank refused! ) so she was very proud of herself and I was too. We then got the bus into town and went to the library, we hadn't been for ages - a lovely hour choosing books and colouring in. Had to wait ages for a bus at town was busy, toasties for lunch, then we read all 6 library books and then she busied herself making Easter cards while I got the ironing done. DD picked up her not long after 3.30 and peace returned! She'll arrive back about 7.30 in the morning.
Taff I don't think the royals should have to share private stuff about their health...it was reported on the BBC this morning 'how brave she was speaking out' - she was given no choice really.
When I lost my Pip tribunal, I asked for a 'statement of reasons' - I wish I hadn't as it basically says they thought I was exaggerating my illness and how restricting it is, and that I have no difficulty doing anything! it's really made me feel fed up the last couple of days since the letter arrived.
Right I'm going to get washed up then I've some hair dye to put on as I'm getting whiter. Hope everyone has had a good day x
