Staff hospital worker parking fine

Good afternoon,
I lease a car through a work salary sacrifice scheme. I parked in the staff car park and my permit must have fallen when I closed the door. I found it on the floor that afternoon when leaving with a window car parking ticket. I sent a message to ACOPA stating what must have happened as my permit was on the floor. I then got a letter after stating I didn't respond to their request for more information. I logged on again and stated I never received a letter asking for more information. They said its too late and I can bo longer appeal that route. I didn't appeal via POPLA and today I have received a letter from Debt recovery plus! What should I do now?
It's complicated by it being a lease vehicle but also by me appealing initially and telling them I was the driver. What can I do!?
It's a well known cancer hospital.
Thank you

You should have a read of the Newbies/FAQ thread. APCOA are benign when it comes to a single PCN. You can safely ignore all debt collector letters, as advised int he Newbies/FAQ thread.
If you hadn't identified as the driver, this could have been dispensed with even more easily.
Have you ever received an NtK/NtH through the post? Is the car registered in your name or the lease companies name? Did the lease company ever transfer liability to you, if the car is not registered in our name?2 -
Please just ignore APCOA & DR Plus.kimberleyc88 said:Good afternoon,

Please consider supporting this.
So many people don't receive 1st and/or 2nd pcn but the £170 payment due letter often manages to drop through letter boxes. PPCs always claim discounted/full rate pcns, court claim/discontinuation letters were sent as dated though they offer no evidence to prove this.
Since they CHOOSE NOT to provide evidence of their posting we must continue to press gov to ensure they do and see it included in the new Parking CoP. Please sign/share @jmccabe petition closes 22nd june 2024.

Require communications from Private Parking companies to be traceable/trackable
Thank you. Good luck

The car is registered to the leasing company. I am on the insurance. I have never received a notice to keeper through the post or any other way. No liability has been rmtransfered to me via the lease company. This happened once before for an aldi car park ticket which they contacted me about as it was sent to them but this time they have not notified me and it appears the parking fine hasn't been bought to their attention either. What should me next step be please?nopcns said:You should have a read of the Newbies/FAQ thread. APCOA are benign when it comes to a single PCN. Nothing if you are getting DR Plus letters in your name. But someone at the lease firm gave them your name & address if you aren't on the logbook as the registered keeperPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I gave my details when I appealed it initially on the APCOA website. Can I challenge this at all?Coupon-mad said:Nothing if you are getting DR Plus letters in your name. But someone at the lease firm gave them your name & address if you aren't on the logbook as the registered keeper0 -
