I have suffered with clinical/chronic depression and anxiety from the age of 19. It is a horrible misunderstood condition, had post natal depression after my 1st and 2nd children were born.I've been judged often by my adult sons partners who think I can't be bothered or don't care about them or my grandchildren. I get accused of favouring one family over another. I am struggling now with appealing a PIP decision and may lose my mobility car. I have a history of falls, been diagnosed with ostepenia which was discovered after I fell down 2 stairs and broke my hip. I have other diagnoses including osteoarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, overactive immune system, I have eating disorders, spasmodic dysphonia, recently diagnosed glaucoma, I have colitis and suffer oesophageal dysmotility. My asthma is well controlled. I struggle with self doubt, low self esteem and social anxiety. After my DLA to PIP assessment I was awarded standard rate care and mobility. If anyone can help me prepare my appeal statement I would be so grateful. If I lose my car it will be devastating for me, my life will be further limited than it is already. I just can't see how I can demonstrate how all of this impacts my quality of life. Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide 🙏

Note that the physical criteria for PIP enhanced mobility is a stricter test than DLA (20m rather than 50m), so you may need to accrue points on the planning and following a journey descriptor to retain the highest award.
I'd strongly advise getting help from your local advice charity as you have an existing award to check that an increased award is possible on appeal. Asking for a MR means that the DWP will look again at your existing award - which could stay the same, increase, or be reduced.Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.1
