Disney+ app will no longer open on Smart TV

Disney+ app was working perfectly fine on my Philips Android TV.

Then my subscription ended and I took up a new subscription, using a new Disney+ account.

Set it up on my laptop and fully activated.

However after clearing all the previous account account details from my TV app, clearing cache/data, force stop and the uninstall and reinstalling the Disney+ app on the TV, I cannot get it open any more.

I click on the Disney app, I get an option to accept/reject privacy options or customise.

Irrespective of what option I select, the app just goes into blank screen mode.

I even contacted Support and they ask me to do all of the above and they asked me for my IP address, told me to restart/reboot router and TV.

But I still can't get the Disney+ app to open

Anything else I can try?

I have a connected Firestick to the TV and can successfully log into the default Disney app on it.  But the Firestick isn't available all the time unfortunately.

Any advice? Thanks

    I click OPEN, get the Privacy settings page.
    And regardless of what I select, the screen just goes blank

    If you read the post you will find that the OP has already done that.

    In fact I think this has caused the problem and he would probably got away with it if he had simply deleted his login details and reinput the new one.

    Yes, as I stated I've tried it a few times

    I initially logged out of all devices via my laptop.  And that logged me out of the App.

    Going back into the app to try and re-input my new details was not possible, hence clearing cache/date/force stop etc.  Last ditch, uninstall and reinstall.  Frustrating
