All I can keep saying is call them, I've cancelled monthly regular savings accounts over the phone and had money I put in plus the interest earned transferred before.

You cannot CLOSE the account on line, that is not possible, but you can as stated in an earlier post RENEW it into an easy saver then close that.  All the interest will go into the easy saver then into the current account nominated on closure.  It is a well trodden path used when the regular saver interest rates were increased

just called them now. I had already transferred  out £2400 from club lloyds (CL) monthly saver to CL current account and from there to my halifax current account, so it was just interest that was due.

Staff member closed CL monthly saver (MS) immediately asked me where I want the interest transferred. I said CL current account and that is where it ended up. There was  £37.33 interest. The CL MS was opened on 22 October 2023.

Phone support was a lot more effficient. They do have an option at the start of the call to participate in a call back survey. I always press 'yes' to this, so I get a callback and can give feedback. Not sure, if the call handler knows that the surveys' are ongoing or if I selected that option. In case that they do become aware before the call that I selected 'yes' to survey, I tend to select 'yes', so it keeps them on their toes :)
