We get UC top up my partner works full time, I recieve carers allowance I don’t work due to my caring needs so I don’t have a workplace pension.
However I would like to start paying into a personal pension, would UC still disregard my personal pension contributions even if I don’t work?

If you mean, will they deduct the pension contributions from your Carer's Allowance income or from your husbands income, then no they won't, unfortunately.1

As @Yamor said, no, because you have no earned income for them to be disregarded from. You can, however, still contribute £3600 gross (£2880 net) into a pension scheme as a non-earner and benefit from the tax relief. Our green credentials: 12kW Samsung ASHP for heating, 7.2kWp Solar (South facing), Tesla Powerwall 3 (13.5kWh), Net exporter0
