New State Pension and Pension Credit amounts from April - inform council?

If someone's in receipt of both housing benefit and CTR, do they need to inform the council of the annual increases / changes to their SP and PC amounts once DWP confirms these changes?
Also, would they need to report in-year changes to their pension credit amounts?

If you get Guarantee Credit of PC the no need to inform them as that gives the passport to full HB & CTR.
Only time there would be a need to inform them is if the Guarantee Credit ends.
