Vodafone router doesn’t auto reconnect when internet connection lost

I have the Vodafone broadband router model number THG 3000. But when the broadband becomes disconnected the box doesn’t automatically attempt to reconnect itself and this can only happen by turning the box off and on again. Clearly this is not going to be satisfactory if I’m away anywhere as it operates the ring doorbell system and the heating system.

Any ideas?

There doesn't seem to be a manual, which is where I would normally start and people on the Vodafone forum are complaining about that.  Have you tried asking the question on the Vodafone forum?

Thanks. As you say there’s no manual supplied that I can find. I cannot see anything in the settings either.
Does anyone know if this router is a rebranded common one?

It's made by Technicolor, but I'm not sure if they sell it to anyone but Vodaphone?

Presumably you have contacted Vodaphone about your issue, what did they say?
