IVA and renting
My monthly rent is over £800, an equity release agreement, the landlord wants me to leave. When I request the viewing of a property I'm asked what my inome is, but using the rule that rent should be a third of my annual income my rent is limited to £550. How can I get around this:I have proof of all my rent payments.

Hi I'm finding your message a bit hard to understand:
1) Who is saying your rent should be a third of income? Is this the letting agent?
2) How does equity release fit in if you are renting? it's usually for homeowners?
3) Likewise why do you have an IVA if you are renting? It's usually to protect assets like a home you own.0
