Bit of a broad and general question which of course will have many different answers...but where do businesses who do OK keep stacks of money and improve on next to 0% interest on the standard business current accounts?

I tend to use the money market based business deposit options. I am just about to put some more on Lloyds FTD at 4.53%. Near enough at the top end (not best but not far off) without any of the hassle.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. Do some banks not 'advertise' their rates?friolento said:

Only there are no HSBC 1yr fixed rate bonds there and it was only last week I spoke with the bank about a product at 4.84%0 -
Quick forum search, nothing upto date but the posts about Tide don't fill me with hope. Even posts about not being FSCS protected, however that looks to have changed now.
Anyone with recent experience?
My purpose is simply to gain interest and Tide currently offer the highest rate for easy access...0 -
Some banks dont offer commission for leads and so won't necessarily be includedjay_ftw said:

Then you can see all available accounts, not just the ones with commission links.0 -
Yes but it's still not all the options that are out there? Like I said there are no HSBC options on the Moneyfacts link but they do exist.Albermarle said:

Do some banks not 'advertise' their rates? Most of the clearing banks operate money market fixed term deposits with live interest rates. They don't tend to publish these with only existing customers able to see them.

Moneyfacts presents you with 426 Business savings accounts today, as a free service that you can access 24x7. This includes some HSBC accounts, with their pretty mediocre interest rates. You just have to page past many better rates to find them.
