IHT 400 forms my experience

For anyone wondering what happens when you post off the IHT forms, this has been my experience
completed forms posted on 19.02.2024, Royal Mail tracked
the delivery did not track at all, the only message I received was that it had been accepted for posting at my local post office, this did cause me some anxiety, but thanks to this forum, I discovered that it would not be tracked
the letter of response from HMRC arrived today, exactly 20 working days after posting, with unique code to apply for probate
happy days
