Premium bonds on IHT406 form

Options
Morning, on the form there is a space for holder number.. then Bond number. Have spoke to premium bonds this morning and they advise its sufficient to send the statement for date of death. Seems strange that they would want all the Bond numbers…he had the maximum in there. What have other people filled in? Thank you

Yes, a real pain if he purchased lots of small blocks. Does the statement contain all these bond numbers? If it does I would simply put a note in the bond numbers box saying see attached statement. If not include a separate sheet with all the number ranges on.
  • Ok he only had premium bonds, and i have a statement from NSandI stating amount held… do you think that is sufficient?
  • Ive requested a list from premium bonds, so hopefully get that in a few days. I don't want anything to delay the process, so i will just have to be patient. Wished id known that i would need a list of the bond numbers. I could have downloaded it before the account was frozen
