If I won a competition, but didn't receive the prize - who do I contact?

It was a competition for tickets we would otherwise have paid for. But we didn't buy them, on the basis that I had won them (it's in writing).

Buying them later costs more, if they're even available. 

I tried searching online but the only regulator I could see was about shop competitors.

What are my options?

It's not the CMA.

The Advertising Standards Authority is probably your best bet.

OP, who have you tried contacting at the company?

I contacted their customer services initially, and then received an email from someone (with another person copied in) - they're not shared emails etc, so I do have named people, but my last email (asking when tickets will arrive - even though I was told late last year that they'd be here by the end of Feb/early March) hasn't had a response.
