Best Saving Accounts for Kids

Just looking for some advise on the best bank/savings accounts to open for my kids, my son aged 7 and daughter 2
The 7 year old had a bank account opened when he was born by my wife that his grandparents will have been putting money into on birthdays, but it will just be a basic low interest account. My 2 year old hasn't had one opened yet and I've been getting nagged to sort it as I said id take charge of it all!
So I'm looking for suggestions what the best would be, savings/ISA etc?
Once opened we will put money in occasionally and the grandparents will continue to do so also. The aim of course to be having a good pot for them when they are older. Ill move what is in the 7 year olds existing account over to his new one too.

If it is intended that this money will not be required until the children are 18, had you considered a Junior ISA for each of them?
If you had thought about the stocks and shares option, Fidelity and Hargreaves Lansdown have been given favourable mentions on the forum.

The best cash JISA currently generally available is offered by Coventry BS.

Opened a HL S&S JISA at the beginning of this year, first time I've used them and have found the platform very easy to use. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.0
